// VALENTINES DAY MAKEUP LOOK //

I've seen a couple of Valentines makeup looks floating around the blogosphere,  so I thought that I may as well throw my own suggestion out there too. I've tried my best to create a versatile look with a dramatic eye, that could easily be transitioned from day to night with nothing but the swipe of a lipstick.
I'll take any opportunity I can get to add a little more drama to my eye look, so I took valentines day as a wonderful occasion to do just that. On my eyes, I'm wearing the Steven Klein Dead Of Summer palette. I used Studly in the inner corner of my eye and Stag Film across my lid blending this into Subra which I used as a crease colour along with Black Mail. By taking an angled brush, I was able to carefully wing my eyeshadow out -but if you're not confident doing this you can totally use a bit of sellotape to help guide you, I can't tell you how many times I have! Don't forget to keep blending your shadows out, you don't want to end up with harsh lines where you don't want them!

If you're not feeling the nude lip or feel like adding even more flair to the look, then add a lipstick. I played around with a few colours before finding that red suited me best. However, if you can get away with a pretty pink then I think it would really compliment the purple toned eyeshadow.

So here's a rundown of everything that I used: To start I prepped my face with MAC's prep and prime skin base before using Givenchy's Photo'Perfexion light reflecting foundation. I concealed my under eyes and any blemishes with Collection 2000 infamous Lasting Perfection Concealer and then set my face with MACS Mineralize Skinfinish Natural PowderNext I filled my brows in with Collections Eye Brow Kit and set them with a clear gel. I used Benefits Dandelion blush to add a flush of colour to my cheeks and proceeded to use their Girl Meets Pearl highlighter to add even more of a glow to my cheeks and the high points of my face.

I used a MAC paint pot in Painterly (which is an absolutely beautiful colour by the way) as a base for my eyeshadow. As mentioned above, I wore the Steven Klein Dead Of Summer palette on my eyes. I used Studly in the inner corner of my eye and Stag Film across my lid blending this into Subra which I used as a crease colour along with Black Mail. I winged my eyeshadow out and followed this line with my Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner. On my lashes, I chose to wear Eyeko's Black Magic Mascara because it adds great length and add holds a curl wonderfully.

In the first two photos, I'm wearing a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the shade Bitch Perfect, on top of this I'm wearing Soap and Glory's Pillow Plump XXL Sexy Mother Pucker lipgloss in the shade Nude in Town. Whilst in the last photo I'm wearing Topshop's Hazard lipstick on top of Maybelline's Colour Sensational Lipliner in the shade 540 Hollywood Red.

So there you have it, how I'll be wearing my makeup this Sunday. Let me know how you plan on doing your makeup for the occasion, if you even plan on doing it at all! Oh, and how are you celebrating? If at all!

I hope you're all well
Love always,
