LUXURY BEAUTY CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE

Whether you're looking for gift ideas for a loved one, or just looking to treat yourself as we approach the festive period, I've got you covered! Being a student means that investing in makeup is almost never at the top of my priority list (unfortunately), and so when Christmas comes around I usually have a long list of ideas for my poor mother. This year I thought I'd turn that list into a blogpost and hopefully give some of you a couple of gift ideas. So here you have it, my rundown of this years must have luxury beauty items...
NARS Steven Klein Dead Of Summer Eyeshadow Palette - I have all three Urban Decay Naked Palettes and so I can never justify buying myself any more eyeshadow. Unfortunately this means that I rarely ever branch out from wearing nudes, browns and golds on my lid. And that is why this palette is at the top of my Christmas list this year. I think you could create some really beautiful smokey eye looks with this set of colours that would look just perfect for the party season. Well done NARS.

Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon Pencils  - I think the look these pencils achieve is absolutely stunning. My personal favourites are Dark Pearl, Champagne Diamonds and Black Diamonds. If you're thinking of giving these as a gift to someone, why not go the extra mile and think about which colour would be best to make your loved ones eyes pop?

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palettes - Are you beginning to see the eyeshadow trend? I have to admit that Charlotte Tilbury are really on point with their eyeshadow colours at the moment... And their lip colours.. Anyway, I think that all of these quads are stunning and would all make a wonderful gift this Christmas.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick - I love receiving lipsticks as gifts! Whenever I use that lipstick in the future, I'm always reminded of the person who gifted it to me. Charlotte Tilbury have some beautiful colours at the moment, but two of my favourites are Amazing Grace and Love Liberty. At £23 they won't break the bank, but they are more of a luxury lipstick and something a little bit different.

NARS Concealer - Now this is is what you call a tactical gift! December and January are always filled with parties right? Well I don't know about you but I definitely don't look fresh the morning after a big night out. I know that I'd really appreciate a perfecting concealer in my stocking this Christmas so that even if I don't feel so fresh, I can do my best to look the part. Go on, help a girl out.

Chanel du Soleil Bronzer - Growing up I used to watch my mom apply this bronzer and think about the day when I'd be old enough to wear "grown up" makeup. Also, because I am so pale a lot of bronzers tend to look either muddy or orange on my face and fortunately this does neither of those things. Plus, what girl doesn't like waking up to a little bit of Chanel on Christmas morning?

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter Pressed Powder - Skin can tend to look a little more dull in the winter time, or at least mine does anyway. I'm a big fan of using highlighters to add a little more radiance to my face and help hide any signs of fatigue. The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter is a cult product and I'd love to finally give it a try and  be able to shimmer throughout the holidays!

Christian Louboutin Lipstick - I think this lipstick speaks for it's self. JUST LOOK AT THE PACKAGING. I honestly think that lipstick is prettier than I am! Even so if you're looking to give a really special and memorable gift this year, then this should definitely be a contender. However with a hefty £60 price tag, I'd suggest you do only consider this for a very special someone.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Light - Estee Lauder double wear has been my go-to holy grail foundation for the past two years. I wear the shade 1C0 Shell and I have to say that is the best match for my skin tone I have ever found. However sometimes - if you're having a good skin day- you don't necessarily want a full coverage foundation. That's why I would one day love to try double wear light.

By Terry Ombre Black Star - These eye pencils.. oh my. Very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon Pencils but a little more expensive with a different selection of colours. I'm hugely lusting after Blond Opal and Velvet Orchid. I'd perhaps recommend these as a gift to someone who loves their eyeshadow/ eyeliner but is looking to try something a little different.

Tom Ford Lipstick - As I've already mentioned, I think lipstick is a nice, personal gift to give and to receive at christmas time. I know that I never pick up an expensive lipstick for myself but get so excited if ever I receive one. Tom Ford  have just released their limited edition Lips and Boys collection and there are some truly wonderful colours dotted throughout that collection. A Lips and Boys lipstick will only set you back £27 in comparison to the usual £38 and is still something a little bit special. I have my eyes set on the shade First Time.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit - I'm sure you've seen this all over the blogosphere and so I won't bore you with another paragraph about all the individual colours. All you need to know is the powders are very finely milled, extremely pigmented and just beautiful. Once again, the set does cary a hefty price tag and isn't FAB value for money as far as buying the set or buying each colour individually is concerned. If you or someone you know is into contour and highlighting or into achieving a radiant look, then this would make for a wonderful gift.

So there you have it, my rundown of coveted luxury beauty items this year. Let me know down below if any of these products were all ready on your radar! What beauty products have you asked for this Christmas? Are you giving any of these items as gifts?
With Love, Always.
